The anti-war Left: A fringe group
Edited on Wed May-23-07 05:10 PM by Jackpine Radical
consisting of 65% of the population.

Not to be confused with--
Wacko 9-11 conspiracy theorists (a fringe group consisting of 84% of the population who don't think we got the full truth on 9-11).

7. One Small Caveat, My Friend
Both those rather impressive numbers are totaled up from people with very different views of the matters.

Most of the people who can now be said to oppose the war in this country do so from a feeling that it is a failure, that they no longer want to identify with. The proportion who feel that is was the wrong thing to do in the first place is much smaller, and the proportion that feels it was wrong legally is smaller than that, with the proportion who feel it was wrong morally being even smaller still.

Most of the people who feel we have not gotten the whole story on the September attacks feel there has been some covering up of government blunder, failure to make arrests and heed warnings, mostly. The number who feel there was deliberate disregard of warnings is very much smaller, and the number who believe the government somehow contrived the attacks very much smaller even than that. The number who subscribe to the full conspiracist view on display from some in our September 11 forum is vanishingly small.

10. It strikes me as funny when someone needs to claim that their view is the majority one.

11. So many of us were there
from the get-go and now the rest of the country is catching up.

The ones who watched corporatedmedia news didn't stand a chance because they covered up the facts but now it's so friggin bad even the mediawhores can't cover up.

Thanks again, Al Gore, for the internet!~

12. Do not let them confuse these two.
A poll shows that 30some percent of Democrats and 20some percent
of Republicans believe that wacko conspriracy 9/11 theory.
