EXCUSE ME

But not knowing the law is no excuse for committing a crime. As a lawyer she should know that!

She had a duty to know the rules, regulations and laws pertaining to her job. As a lawyer she should know that!

3. She was simply getting her defense out there.
She has the right to require anyone prosecuting her to persuade a jury that she did have the intent to cross the line. As a lawyer, she knows that usually you merely have to have the intent to do the wrongful act, not the intent to do wrong to be guilty. She meant that she did not have the intent to do wrong. She meant to do the wrongful acts. I am not a criminal attorney, but I believe it would be up to a jury to decide whether she had the requisite intent.

4. Can you imagine retaining someone like her as your lawyer?
It's really scary that there are apparently lots of lawyers out there that not only criminals, but dirt stupid too. I wonder how much these Regent University lawyers charge per hour?
