Let's beef em' up

I was listening to Bush's speech this morning & I found something he said very funny. He said he was trying to get the Chinese government to buy American beef. He also said it would be good for them. Do we want them to buy more beef to fatten them up like some in the US who are can just be plain lazy because of the weight they carry. I am sure WalMart won't like that. After all where are they going to get people to make cheap stuff.

On the flip side it is interesting that the US the great producer of new technology. At one time light years ahead of other countries now has to resort to selling beef to improve it's trade deficit while the competition (China) sells us the the latest in technology.

One other thing he did say was that we needed to change the Chinese into consumers. All this savings are not good. They are not buying any of our beef.

What an awful example we are setting for the world. Most Americans are in huge debt. We eat much more than we should. There is no savings amongst the people. We are heading for disaster Mr. Bush. Maybe we need to take a lesson from the Chinese: Eat less beef & save more money.
