A great day for Kerry campaign!
First there was General Clark's endorsement, and now AFL-CIO endorsement! I can't believe the good fortune of Kerry campaign. This is great!

4. Harkin was a Presidential candidate? I must've missed it.
Harkin is the largest grouping of labor unions in America? :hi:

14. How were those endorsements good for the Kerry campaign?
That is, after all, the topic of this thread.

26. And Kerry didn't hire Clark?
Well, I guess all these Kerry/Clark posts are bullshit then. Wouldn't you agree?

10. Not bizarre.
And it's not an accident.

The BFEE's running scared. So is their toad swarm. It's been that way for two years on DU.

15. Kerry is electable because he's winning elections.
Edited on Fri Feb-13-04 04:12 PM by eileen_d
And he'll continue winning elections, right up to November. Go Kerry!

21. I don't agree. It's a chicken and egg thing.
The voters recognize that Kerry is the best qualified to be President. A one-word description of that is 'electable'.

23. I don't even know what "electability" means...
It only makes sense to me after the fact... if someone wins an election, s/he was "electable" for that particular election.

I'm getting dizzy. Anyway...

congrats to Kerry supporters, especially the long time supporters who hung in there, that must have been tough. Here's looking forward to a Democrat in the WH in 2005. :toast:

And yes, it was tough for a while. Maybe that's why it is easy to not get overly upset about baseless attacks, rumors, and sniping now...

25. All the planets are lining up......
I'm starting to believe we can take back Congress under a Kerry campaign. How is George going to campaign? Will he take questions from voters? I doubt that.

28. He may have my union's ensorsement, but he doesn't have mine...
Actually, I'm NATCA (an AFL-CIO affiliate) but the message remains the same. Kerry has my vote in the GE IF he's the nominee...nothing more.
