Want to see Karl Rove frog marched? Here's your challenge...
from gregpalast.com , and his excellent article on Goodling and the Keys to the Kingdom:

"(Monica) Goodling testified that Gonzales’ Chief of Staff, Kyle Sampson, perjured himself, lying to the committee in earlier testimony. The lie: Sampson denied Monica had told him about Tim Griffin’s “involvement in ‘caging’ voters” in 2004."

We should be safe to assume if Congress would subpoena Tim Griffin there would be a good chance he'd plea bargain a felony conviction, and spill the beans on Rove if the orders to cage minorities came from Karl.

Your challenge? Contact your reps (both Senators and congresscritter) to read the emails Greg Palast gave to John Conyers. The legwork is done my friends. It's up to us to push it through. Greg Palast cannot do it all by himself. As of this morning there were at least 3 threads on the greatest page regarding Greg's work. If you've yet to read it, please go here:

http://www.gregpalast.com/index.php

If anyone has the tollfree number to congress, please post it below. I called using my daytime minutes on my cellphone today to D.C. I didn't want any delay if my representatives happen to be in DC now. If you live in a red state, or district please contact a member or two of the Congressional Black Caucus with this info. You can find a member here: http://www.house.gov/kilpatrick/cbc/member_info.html

Let's start with subpoena's for Kyle Sampson and Tim Griffin. Karl Rove should follow.

1. So Greg has given them to Conyers?
That's what I hoped. I saw Conyers earlier this evening and forgot that I had wanted to ask him if he was talking to Greg Palast about the e-mails. Then he had to leave to go to a town hall on gas prices he was hosting. He was supposed to come back to the impeachment town hall, but hadn't gotten there by the time I left at about 7:30.

2. I'm quite certain I read in another thread that he had passed them along.
Hopefully we'll have some people who read DU who will ask Conyers himself how up to date he is on the Palast story. This story dwarfs any story on American Idol, Paris Hilton, or Lohan DUI. We have to be the media, and let our congresspeople know that we have the goods on the GOP's illegal ways.

6. I do see Conyers occasionally at various local events
Next time I see him, I will remember to ask him. I was so mad at myself for forgetting last night in the brief few moments I had to talk to him. He knows me by name now and also probably as "that crazy woman who thinks she's going to get Gore to run by getting petition signatures." A couple of weeks ago he told me Al isn't running -- that he told him himself. I still think he will, though. If he was so sure, he would have made some kind of announcement and asked our draft groups to stop what we're doing.

4. Thank you for the effort
wish I could find that tollfree number for congress to help out. I woke up early today thinking of what I could do, and this was the least. I'm also trying to spread the word at work to like minded people.
