It has become de rigueur to replace the word "complain" with the word "whine"
I am tied of hearing people described as "whining" when they voice or write legitimate complaints. I think this is a right wing tactic that is unfortunately being co-opted by just about everyone - columnists, pundits, bloggers, etc. It is used to de-legitimize often on-target criticism.

"Whining" certainly has a place but I would like to see it used more circumspectly.

Just sayin'.

7. LOL! Too true. All the little patronage rethug hacks at my old agency had
little "no whining zone" placards in their offices. It only meant that they weren't able to deal with any human relation type problems that might arise in their work units.
