Rupert Murdoch's fundraiser for HILLARY is tonight!
Edited on Wed May-30-07 01:17 PM by Citizen Kang

http://www.msnbc.msn.com/id/12762092/

"Media mogul Rupert Murdoch, whose Fox News Channel and other conservative news outlets have been skewering Hillary Rodham Clinton for years, will host a summer fund-raiser for the senator, mystifying some observers and enraging others."

"The Clinton-Murdoch alliance is not entirely new. The two have been moving toward a détente since 2000, when she won her Senate seat after a campaign that included a series of not-so-flattering Clinton headlines in another Murdoch property, the New York Post.

Murdoch has also developed a relationship with former President Clinton, a prime target of criticism from Fox and the New York Post during his presidency. Murdoch participated in a conference of the Clinton Global Initiative last fall, and the former president is scheduled to address a gathering of News Corp. executives in California later this year."

-------------------------------------------

ON EDIT: Sorry, this one already happened, but Hillary is having ANOTHER fundraiser with the COO of Rupert Murdoch's News Corp:

http://www.nypost.com/seven/05012007/news/nationalnews/hill_ywood_cash_bash_in_works_nationalnews_ian_bishop.htm

"May 1, 2007 -- WASHINGTON - Hillary Rodham Clinton is getting a jump on rival Barack Obama at the box office in their political star-wars saga - with director Steven Spielberg hosting a Hollywood cash bash for Clinton later this month.

Spielberg is teaming with News Corp. President and Chief Operating Officer Peter Chernin and TV producer Haim Saban for a $2,300-per-head fund-raiser at Chernin's Santa Monica home"

-------------------------------------------

Rupert is no dummy. He knows its going to be Hillary. Just like he knew it was going to be W in 2000. People are in such denial. Do you realize that once Hillary is 'elected' a Bush or a Clinton will have been in one of the top two offices (POTUS and Vice POTUS) for 32 years? Thats my entire lifetime!

PLEASE AL, RUN!

13. You can print your own invitation.
But it has to look like a check, and have the invitation code $2300.00 written prominently on it.

14. Ahhhh.....Hillary...at least you should be applauded for "holding no grudge or malice
against part of the "machine" that you and Bill were menaced by. I wonder if Mellon-Scaife held a fundraser for her if she and Bill would attend. Embracing Poppy Bush & Murdoch shows she has a list of folks that she and Bill feel it's worth while to forgive so that their agenda can move along.

15. This bothers me...
People should really be weary of his kind of neocon support of Hillary. There is a reason repukes on fox news continue to spout that Hillary is the inevitable dem nominee. They know she will get the repuke vote to turn up in the election..against her.
