How many wives Old Fred Thompson had?
How many affairs? Besides the one kid that's draining the reserves, he got any other kids avoiding the military? In short is he basically in the same mold as all the others?

1. He's the cool guy from Hunt for Red October and Die Hard 2!
And some teevee show.

Nothing else matters!

3. 2 wives--affairs? who knows?
In 1959, at the age of 17, he married Sarah Elizabeth Lindsey.

Thompson married Jeri Kehn on June 29, 2002, at First Congregational United Church of Christ, Naperville, Illinois, having first met her on July 4, 1996.<15> Kehn (born January, 1967)

In October 2003, Fred and Jeri Thompson had their first child, Hayden Victoria Thompson. A second child was born to them in November, 2006.<11> Thompson also has two grown children and five grandchildren from his previous marriage, which ended amicably in divorce after 25 years. Thompson said his former wife, Sarah, indicated she would campaign for Thompson if he did run for president.

6. Yes, I think he is
and from some posts put here by people associated with the industry, apparently ol' Fred isn't well liked by the people in production--seems to think an awfully lot of himself, didn't come on set prepared, making everyone wait on him---all I can say is that long time L&O fans as a whole don't like him--and you'd think that would be one of his bases!

8. I don't know but I heard Stephanie Miller say his current wife
is barely past the zygote stage. That may not play well with Republican women of a certain age.

13. She's young enough to be his daughter. But she is still over 40, I think.
He's pretty old. Thing about her is...she's very flashy: bussomy, glittering dresses, bleached long hair, lots of makeup. Get the picture? But I'm sure they'll tone her down for campaigning.

...or Mitt Romney, for that matter. But not as many as Rush Limbaugh, Newt Gingrich, or Rudy Giuliani. He's tied with John McCain and Ronald Reagan, though, although he's still young enough to pass'em.

10. But his first wife says she'll campaign for him!!!

If you can believe Wikipedia, as quoted above. It also said they married when he was 17 and "divorced amicably after 25 years."

If he didn't dump wife #1 for wife #2, it shouldn't hurt him.

22. No, I just mean that if a guy's divorced but his first wife

campaigns for him, it's bound to help overcome the negatives attached to divorce, no matter what party he's in.

It's also good if he didn't dump his first wife for his mistress. If Fred was married for 25 years, and got married at 17, that means they divorced when he was 42, long before he married the second wife.

21. according to Wikipedia
2 wives, 3 kids
(1) Sarah Elizabeth Lindsey (Knestrick), 1959–1985; div.
(2) Jeri Kehn, 2002–Present The fundies aren't going to approve of this one. She isn't exactly anyone's idea of a first lady.

If they like Fred, I doubt that they'll have any problem with his wife because of her appearance.
