http://images.google.com/images?hl=en&q=cheney+angry&gbv=2

This man needs love. Join me in sending him hugs. Perhaps we could start a web site dedicated to his welfare, hugcheney.com, with a counter for the number of persons willing to hug him in the interest of fomenting world peace.

We need to move beyond individual comfort zones in order to avert fascism. Are you ready to help!?

2. Question....
Edited on Thu May-31-07 08:15 AM by Aviation Pro
...what the fuck is he so pissed off about? I mean he's richer than Midas, can shoot guys in the face without being arrested, operates with impunity under the radar, has a brand new grandchild from his lesbian daughter, and he's guarded by the most well trained mercenary force on the face of the Earth. So again, what the fuck is he so pissed off about?

an evil alien are true when you hear him talk and see him sneer.

7. But it may be the only way to save the world.
If he knew how many of us were waiting to soothe his pain, perhaps he wouldn't be helping shift the world economy toward a small group of rich and powerful entities. Hug a Cheney, avert fascism. I'm willing to sacrifice my discomfort for my fellows, are you?

I'd send him a "Hug Cheney" mug and T-shirt but I'm probably on too many "lists" already.

8. NO!
He does not care if we want to soothe his pain, it is what keeps his ticker going after all. Pain, anger and pure meanness are what fuel this man (?).

Sorry, I can do a lot of things but I gave up a long time ago on this guy. There is no reason for him to exist except to torture others.

9. To save the world? Guaranteed to save it?
Edited on Thu May-31-07 08:48 AM by Totally Committed
I might. But, only if someone agreed to kill me quickly afterward so I wouldn't have to live with the ugly and horrifying flashbacks hugging him would definitly cause me for the rest of my life.

11. There would be statues, pop songs, and perhaps even a zesty beverage
named after you for your majestic self-sacrifice. Not that I'm only interested in having a zesty beverage named after me. I'm not that self-obsessed. Yes, I am. I admit it. This is only a back-handed machination to usurp attention. But if that's what it takes to save the world from fascism, I'd do it. "Enlightned self-interest", as the Babylon 5 characters said.

I'll stop posting now. And piss off if you offer to rename "Zima" in my honor. Bassids. I'm trying to help you all and look what I get ;-)

I was going to say something like "...to pick his pockets" but I think I'd rather stay clean. I'd probably be more like that graduate from some military academy who reportedly declined to shake his hand at diploma-time. Didn't want to touch him. I think I recall the story saying it was one guy out of a graduating class of 400, or something along those lines. Which works for me. Besides, you're not supposed to get too close to poison or radioactivity.

Glad you're here. Now get to work.

Visualize IMPEACHMENT!!!
Then go DO something about it.

But when it comes to him... I don't think it applies!

No, I'll pass! I try not to say horrible things about others, but that's as far as it goes! I "might" have hugged Nixon even though he wasn't very "nice" at all... throughout his life, not just Watergate, but no NOT CHENEY!!

34. Wadda you nuts?
I swear I was just in the bathroom wishing he'd drop dead and hoping DU would join in a hate campaign to croak him with poison thought beams. I had that image of him when they photoshop him as the 'penguin'. Alas, I know better. In the late 70's I took a Vepashna meditation course. It was all about the love. Hating just comes back on you and shrinks your aura. In finding that place in your heart that has the Agape...Christ-like love and radiating it out to all especially your enemies it has real power to transform. Each month on the full moon people all over the world stay up all night meditating with their minds blank breathing and concentrating on the area above the lip and around the nostrils as a focus point. We should all join them for once in a 'blue moon'. Focus on the love, send good vibes to one and all, and bring about World Peace. Shalom
