Senator Barack Obama speaks to union members, packed high school

Senator Barack Obama told local union members Friday that he supports their current contract negotiations. It's the second time this week a presidential candidate has addressed the Culinary Workers Union.

Obama rallied behind workers who want fair compensation for their work. They say they are tired of seeing big corporations grow bigger and not sharing their wealth with employees.

Obama says demands from these union workers are not unreasonable and if they do go on strike, he will support them by personally joining the picket line.

Barack Obama continued his political stumping at a local high school gym. Silverado High School hosted the presidential hopeful. That's where Obama continued his campaign called "A New Direction for America."
