maybe because she's a little frightened by an audience? but she lacks the fire & passion she has on her show. next time i wish she'd just be herself.

4. Funny, I thought she was wonderful.

I especially liked how she made Brian Lamb blush at around the 58:02 mark, when she jokingly said she wanted to be "Randi Lamb", but went on to say how much she learned about the process from his show.

She did a terrific job of explaining how screwy Arbitron ratings are, lots of great stuff about the business of radio, along with some of the best stuff I've heard on the TeeVee about immigration.

6. You have to judge you audience.

And the CSPAN freeper audience would have turned her off or tuned her out. I think she did great.

8. I don't think she tones down because she is frightened..I think it

might be because this is how they do the show...radio is always more shrilled than tv...I thought she was great and made her point very well without having to be more edgy..
