The losers are the Republicans
We had a debate tonight. They were intelligent, funny, and aggressive which is what most Americans want. They were arguing over the specifics on their health care plans and meanwhile, the republicans are arguing over evolution or whether or not we should build a "Double Guantanamo".

Our field is smarter than theirs is, more attractive, and realistic. I believe most Americans will see that and that is why the big losers of the night were the Republicans.

1. Yeah but are they "tough"? Are they "daddy figures"?
are they authoritarian enough?

My god, haven't you watched tweety get all moist over that asinine fred thompson guy because he looks like he has gas all the time, and grunts in a hillbilly accent. This makes him the father figure that all amurkins are cryin for,

3. I really think that tweety is lusting after
thomspoon's wife. Just thinking about her in the WH wearing her jammies is sending him into paroxysms of joy.

5. Actually, I think Tweety is lusting after
Thompson (without) his jammies.... After his obsession with Bush's codpiece, then his idolization of first McCain, then Ghouliani, I'm guessing there are some unresolved feelings there.

2. What a surprising and optimistic view of Democrats,
as opposed to the gloom and doom, everything is futile, Democrats are cowards and spineless, they won't impeach so I am going to pout, nothing is going to work out and I am going out in the backyard and eat worms attitude here of late.

6. You're right. Ghouliani, Phony Fred, McPain and Flip Romney
can't hold a candle to the candidates in the Democratic field.

Watching the debate was a pleasure.

9. Thanks for the POSITIVITY! It was refreshing since this place has been a bit depressing lately...
I actually told my hubby the same thing as I watched the debate. The rethugs have nothing on this slate of candidates. And no matter who gets the nod, I will work hard to make sure that she/he is elected in 08. This is the Democratic Underground and we should support the democrats, flaws and all.

10. Best post of the night
The Democrats showed tonight that they have real solutions to the problems that the Bush Administration has created. Republicans are still arguing over whether those problems exist when over 70% of the country has come to the conclusion that they clearly do.
