I'm thinking "Raise your hand if you deny the earth is flat."

Just to refresh your Biblical memory (as I know most DUers are too busy to keep up on their federally mandated Bible verse readings), the Good Book assures us that the earth is flat, albeit circular in shape. From Proverbs 8:25-29...

25 "Before the mountains were settled,
. . . . . . . . Before the hills I was brought forth;
26 While He had not yet made the earth and the fields,
. . . . . . . . Nor the first dust of the world.
27 "When He established the heavens, I was there,
. . . . . . . . When He inscribed a circle on the face of the deep,
28 When He made firm the skies above,
. . . . . . . . When the springs of the deep became fixed,
29 When He set for the sea its boundary
. . . . . . . . So that the water would not transgress His command,
. . . . . . . . When He marked out the foundations of the earth;

That's a lot less confusing than the debate over whether pi = 3 (2 Chronicles 4:2-5)

don't believe in gay marriage;
don't believe in a woman's right to control her own health/body;
don't believe in "those people" coming here to OUR Country;


Which is code for:
hates gays;
hates women;
hate anyones not white/male.

The King James Bible says, and I quote, "If a man also lie with mankind, as he lieth with a woman, both of them have committed an abomination: they shall surely be put to death."

Do you believe that gay men should be put to death? If not, please explain how you can pick and choose which parts of the Bible to take literally.

I guess being a lesbian is ok with God? or at least the King James version of God
