Was Craig Thomas the most invisible senator?
Edited on Tue Jun-05-07 05:33 PM by El Supremo
I never heard of him before - and I live in Colorado. I don't even remember his name when they called names for voting.

BTW, I'm sorry he died.

1. Quick, name Wyoming's other Senator
better yet, name the state's lone congresswomen. Craig Thomas was also the state's single congressmen for five years before going into the Senate.

2. Enzi and Cubin
I hate them both (and I'm in Colorado, and I *hate* both of my senators, yes, even Salazar, I'll be looking forward to the Dem primary to boot his ass out)

3. Barbara Cubin was the wife of a prominent doctor in my home town
she got elected to the state legislature, spent some time there and then was elected to represent the entire state of Wyoming. She is a Stepford wife. She actually said, during a debate in Cheyenne about cutting the state budget, something to the effect of ..well when things get tight around my house, we might have to cut some expenses, like letting go the maid or the gardener. That is not a quote but it is very close. She was my representative and that statement drove a stake through my heart because I realized how out of touch with reality she was.

4. I've heard (from Rolling Stone) that Wayne Allard was pretty invisible.
which is why he is retiring.

5. I heard Allard present an amendment today.
I almost ruined my keyboard. It was to the immigration bill. It was soundly defeated.
