"Members of Congress should avoid even the APPEARANCE of impropriety"
That bible wrapped proclamation brought to you by Louisiana republican little shit bobby jindal in justifying his vote to start an ethics investigation against fellow louisianan Bill Jefferson.

jindal, another comedian, has been in politics his whole life but says he is not a career politician. Chose to run for governor AGAINST Kathleen Blanco again after she whipped his ass the last time. His modus operandi, she fucked up. Thanks to rove, bush, barbour, vitter and the rest of the right wing misinformation machine, blanco was trashed over Katrina. She graciously chose not to run for reelection now jindal has to run FOR something. What a shame.

I have to chuckle at a sanctimonious republican climbing into the pulpit, wrapped in the flag and lecturing us about the appearances of improprieties.
