I know some DUers are watching Tucker Carlson. It's GOTTA STOP!
You're making him #1 in the demo for his time period.

http://www.mediabistro.com/tvnewser/

I meant to post this yesterday: MSNBC's 4pm edition of Tucker, hosted by (who else?) Tucker Carlson, was the #1 cable news show in the 25-54 demo last week.

It was a very close race: Tucker averaged 138,000 demo viewers, while CNN's The Situation Room delivered 137,000 and FNC's Your World averaged 134,000.

At 6pm, facing stiffer competition (Lou Dobbs and Brit Hume), Tucker was a distant third...

> Update: 2:39pm: Tucker is a taped repeat at 6pm, which may account for the lower ratings relative to the 4pm hour, an insider notes...

3. And the smirk you could slap.
Yes, that's him. Why they kept him and not Rachel Maddow, I'll never know.

7. Like everything else, it's Nielsen ratings, I believe.
So my headline is sarcasm (unless you're a Nielsen family).

13. Actually I believe that Cable viewers are tracked electronically
via the cable providers. Cause they know which cable program you are watching at all times.....(I suspect),

6. I quit Lil Tuck awhile ago.
I rarely turn on MSNBC before KO.

I was hoping his rating would get so bad that MSNBC would dump him.

12. He's been very informative of late. Seems GOP are going to distance
themselves from Bush by calling him a liberal..neoliberal. Nothing democratic about the Bush regime..but at least we know the tactic. Let's hope the freepers don't fall for it.

14. There's nothing on at that time ...
And both Tucker and Scarbrough have moved toward the center. They are both still righties ... but they now throw in some critical stuff on Bush. I think they do this because Keith is kicking butt and they want some of that action.

But they (Tucker / Joe S.), both right wing tools.

15. I watch him once in a while
and find him far less offensive than Orally or Hannity or Beck. He doesn't seem to take himself as seriously as other conservatives and right wingers. I know he doesn't like Hillary, but a big chunk of DU doesn't either. :-).
