Cindy Sheehan and Crooks and Liars

What are all your thoughts on Cindy Sheehan's and Crooks and Liars' very strong criticism of Democratic Underground?


I was disheartened at both. I really like C and L but they can be sorta, well, reactionary.
John Amato is great but some of the newbies there will praise Scarborough or even that opportunist Lawrence O'Donnell (after he pooh-poohed Joe and Valerie Wilson's civil suit last summer on Countdown.....) It just doesn't help.....
Kinda like Allison Stewart -filling in for Olbermann and teenagelessly mocking Fox News' Libby Chyron on the day that he was convicted and focusing on them showing a "not guilty" graphic...and gigglesnarking about it.

The OP appears on both DU:GD and DU:GD: Politics. But there is no quote/link to anything Cindy Sheehan has said about DU. It's rather hard to have an opinion on something that she "said about DU" when there is no evidence of it.

2. I'm disgusted with comments I've seen on DU...about Cindy.

Nasty and unwarranted.....and a direct cause of losing a fabulous leader/spokesperson who'd challenged what we ALL should be questioning. Go C&L..tell it like it is. and let's get this impeachment train on the rails....Cheney, bush, rice - the lot of them are War Criminals.

8. there are assholes,disputers,and agent provocateurs

in every large political group and even worse in a web forum such as this where we rely on honestly. we have had members with thousands of posts who have turned out to be one of these people. there is no way in hell the guys who run this site can stop what ever these people are complaining about. it`s up to us the members and moderators to police our forum and i think we do a great job of it. of course we get fooled from time to time but is any other site better than ours? it really pissed me off when this "du made me cry" bullshit started and now crooks and liars? there are some of these assholes here but 99% of the folks here that post everyday or have been here for years are behind everything she has done..
