Despite their praise and adulation of Reagan
I think the pug machine regrets the end of the Cold War. It took away their money pump. They've been trying to keep that going with "Terror", but now have decided that winding back the clock and aggravating Putin enough to re-create the old world when B2 bombers, aircraft carriers, and missiles were essential is the way to go.

1. its odd, part of the "Reagan ended the cold war" explanation is
based on fueling an arms race combined with the drain the Afghan war was taking - that eventually imploded the Soviet economy.

These guys seem intent on doing the same job on our economy (making it implode in part due to massive weapons costs/escalations ... ala how in the heck are we going to pay for all these new weapons (that haven't been proven to work) in Europe?) - while bleeding the economy with wars in Afghanistan and Iraq.

2. hey, you're on to something
if they can destroy our economy too, then the corporate takeover of the world becomes complete.

no wonder murdoch wants to buy the WSjournal - it will become the new Pravda

3. maybe the son really was following the dad per the whole
'New World Order' - never been a black helicopters sort of thinker - but at times.... it is tempting to start to go there.
