No one can make Bush look like an ass as masterfully as Bush. He is a genius in the art of assholishness. He has a towering gift.

It's times like this I am so glad that photographs and videos exist. Very few people in the future will see the little fella's portrait. Most of those who do will be amazed that anyone could commission such a self-aggrandizing piece of crap and apparently not realize what it says about them. But then, thank God, they will look at the countless hours of video footage, photography, and other forms of media from our time. It abundantly testifies to the inescapable fact that Bush is just a pure, talent free asshole who got to be president because his dad was. That truth will be the context of the portrait. So the portrait really does represent Bush quite well.

Maybe the artist knew it too. I'd like to think so anyway.

On edit: I forgot to thank you for posting this. It makes my day. I can go to bed happy knowing that this is his official portrait. It is beautiful.
