Tommy Thompson threw Chimpy under the bus last week
"I certainly would not send him to the United Nations."

- Tommy Thompson at Tuesday night's GOP presidential debate in New Hampshire answering what he would ask President George W. Bush to do after he leaves office. Thompson said Bush would be inspiring "on a lecture series, talking to the youth of America about honesty, integrity, perseverance, passion and serving the public."

Afterward, Thompson said of his remark: "I thought it was funny. Didn't you?"

2. Yeah; I didn't think it was meant to be a serious jab at Bush
Everyone knows Bush isn't a big fan of the UN relative to other presidents. I don't think he meant it as a real criticism of Bush.
