Dubya - "my government"
On the no-confidence vote on Gonzalez:
"...they can try to have their votes of no confidence, but it's not going to determine -- make the determination who serves in my government."

And there it is, in a nutshell. "I'm the decider." "My government." Whatever happened to "of the people, by the people, and for the people"? Oh, never mind - I forgot, like the Geneva Convention, I suppose that's "quaint" as well.

1. He has decided that he would make this democracy a dictatorship
He always wanted to be the dictator so in his surreal methods he is making that assumption that it is his government and not the peoples.

Yet we dare not talk about impeachment, if this isn't a Constitutional Crisis, I don't know what Madam Speaker would call it.

2. Move HIM out! IMPEACH!
We should take back our government.

The Supreme Court may have coronated * in 2000 but the voters didn't. It is unreal that * has been permitted to undermine so many laws that have been the rule for years.

4. Well, since it didn't take an election to crown him...
... of course he doesn't feel beholden to "the people."

6. help us third worlders with no US television
is the media talking about this at all? or are they giving him another pass?

maybe we have to take back OUR airwaves before we have a chance to take back OUR government. is there any way to take back the public airwaves from the corporate scum that own everything now? an informed populus is what is needed during this crisis, and while the fascists that own the repuke party also own 95% of the media, that cannot happen.

what are we all waiting for? why aren't we forcibly taking back what is ours? chimpy is bad, no doubt....but he's just a puppet for the corporate guys. and the corporate guys are evil, money grubbing scum for sure....but aren't we worse? i mean, the scumbags are taking advantage of their ability to steal everything they can by whatever means they can. you would expect a dirtbag to do that. but, we sit back and do nothing. doesn't that make us worse? we sit by and let them do whatever they want.

your thoughts?

10. The fix is in and Bu$h knows it. Life as we know it is almost over.
"They can try to have their vote of no confidence, but it's not going to determine -- make the determination, who serves in my government,'' Bush told reporters.

It is no longer the people's government. It is now owned and operated by the Bu$h Crime Family, their minions, and their hirelings. In nineteen months (or less), Bu$hco will totally own us. That will be rock-bottom for this pitiful country.

Then we take it back by whatever means it takes.

11. Dream on.
There will be no revolution, there will be no riots in the streets, people will blindly accept our new totalitarian masters with eyes averted and heads bowed.

We already have.

There should be angry mobs with pitchforks storming DC NOW.

12. In the British parliamentary system "government" is interchangable with "cabinet"
On the other hand if this were the British Parliamentary system, we wouldn't have to wait until 2009 to get rid of Bush.
