Harry Reid’s Favorables Fall to 19%
Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid is now viewed favorably by 19% of American voters and unfavorably by 45%. Just 3% have a Very Favorable opinion while 22% hold a Very Unfavorable views.

Reid has been very visible over the past week in the furor over immigration reform. The effort to pass a bill that was more popular in Congress than among voters may have hurt public perceptions of the Democratic leader. His ratings are down from a month ago when 26% had a favorable opinion of the Democratic Senator. Reid’s highest ratings were 30% favorable in February.

1. The same poll says Dick Cheney has a 38% approval rating
I don't believe that for a second

5. And Obama has a 44% unfavorable
Which I don't believe either. They must have polled Alabama.

6. Harry Reid's numbers don't shock me
When is he going to get it threw his head that Bush is EXTREMLY UNPOPULAR with most Americans? Do we have to pry his eyelids open like in "A Clockwork Orange"? Geez.

8. Nonsense.
Reid knows that, but unlike you Harry Reid is in a position of responsibility and moreover we don't have the votes, and don't you dare argue that point because that entails even more nonsense. Geez.

2. Considering the political apathy of most Americans, I doubt 45% know who Reid is.
Rasmussen skews Repub, anyway. So I'll take this report with a block of salt, please.

7. That's about right
Although I'm one with an unfavorable opinion- I don't know all that many people IRL who either 1. know who he is; 2. Know what he's done; or 3. have a clue who he even is!

3. Why should I care what people outside Nevada think of Harry Reid?
The only poll that should matter to him is a poll of Nevada voters.

10. Because he is Senate Majority Leader
Which means he's answerable to more than his voting constituency.

He's a sad sack with shaky ethics and a dull-as-toothpaste delivery. This is politics, not welfare, and we need to put forward our best and brightest. How about we give Feingold a try?
