Hotline reports Wes Clark is moving to MSNBC
June 13, 2007

Retired Gen. Wesley Clark will now be exclusively on MSNBC as a military analyst, sources have confirmed to the Hotline. Clark has still not ruled out a possible White House bid and MSNBC would be a much more Dem-friendly audience than his old gig -- Fox News Channel (EMILY GOODIN).

2. I'm happy about that.......and now that Clark has done his time in the Lion's Den of News
and since the Faux audience have learned their lesson that Bush is pure Bushit....now it is time for Clark to move to a channel more watched by Progressive and start preaching to the choir!

Great timing!

Thanks!

4. If he's taking a job with MSNBC...I think this means he most likely won't
run for President. He may still be holding out as a VP though.

11. Based On People Not Wanting Their Candidate To Run Against Wes
I'm just being a little snarky. Sorry about that. I just have to let off a little steam now and then. I'll be good now.

3. wouldn't signing a new contract indicate he's definitely not in the race?
If he had any plans whatsoever I don't think he would have moved elsewhere.

25. Absolutely. The MSNBC contract explicitly states "No running for President, ever."
It's in article 8, section 1a. of the contract....or at least I've heard rumors to that effect.

5. I never got to see him
I refuse to watch those WH whores on Fox.I never could understand why Wes went to that Liberal hating channel in the first place. All they do is back stab any Dem who appears on their shows. It's disgusting. Now I'll get to see him! :woohoo:

8. You never understood, as you say
He went to Fox a year ahead of the 2006 elections during which time he campaigned for 96 Democrats in mostly Red districts, several of which turned Blue. He wasn't on Fox for his health, but for the 50-State Strategy. I am, however, also glad his self-imposed sentence is UP.

23. Clark has the expertise to go on Faux and own the GOP talking heads
At least on topics that are related to the military and foreign affairs.

14. I would interpret this as another move toward candidacy.
With his Fox gig he was talking fact and reason at the deluded masses, and thus undermining the support of the less gullible ones for the PNAC plan for empire and endless war, and thus contributing to the outcome of the 2006 elections.

But the downside was that he was becoming widely known only by that narrow sector of the population who enjoy being fed shit every day.

At MSNBC he'll be speaking with a broader range of voters, across the spectrum, and his views and character will become more familiar to the electorate as a whole (at least the news junkie portion of that broader population.)

If he decides not to run, he will still be a voice for reality based analysis and sane policies, and if he does it gives him more visibility during the early stages.

21. Thanks. Clark has made it clear for some time that his candidacy will depend on
certain unspecified conditions be established. I am certain that the decision to make this move was made in part because it would further help improve the terrain for his chances of a successful presidential campaign.

17. He did a great job at Fox
Not all Dems can stand up and deliver as Gen Clark did. The happiest guy at Fox will be Bill O'Reilly. Now he can spread his garbage without a strong Dem to pimp slap him for it.

19. It's time to make the move
Clark did a great job standing up to the Nimrods on Faux News and presenting a voice of fact and reason. He also became very good at smacking them down when they got out of control! Now, he can concentrate on his wider message and I don't think it's gonna stand in his way of a run at all. Go Wes!:woohoo:
