InfoUSA and Clinton Corruption
http://www.thebulletin.us/site/news.cfm?newsid=18457791&BRD=2737&PAG=461&dept_id=576361&rfi=6

Database company InfoUSA, under fire from a shareholder lawsuit for the millions paid to the Clintons, is pushing its tentacles deeper into the bowels of the Democratic Party.
Nancy Pelosi's son, Paul Pelosi Jr., was hired by InfoUSA four weeks after she ascended to the House speakership. He is paid $180,000 a year as senior vice president for strategic planning.

InfoUSA has paid at least $2.1 million to Bill in consulting fees and promises $1.2 million more. Gupta donated $2 million to Hillary's national millennium celebration and spent at least $900,000 to ferry Bill and Hillary in a corporate jet. There was $1 million to the Clinton library and $200,000 raised for Hillary's 2000 Senate campaign.
The corrupting politics always in evidence around the Clintons has Gupta's firm recently buying Opinion Research Corporation, which is now the polling operation for CNN. Just in time for Hillary's presidential bid.
If America's voters have a shred of dignity, they won't once again allow the moral offensiveness of the Clinton empire to befoul the White House.

8. Yeah the Scaife paper was the same as the NYT
:eyes:

You could have used a reputable source instead you used a piece of slime which characterized the situation in a far more malevolent light.

15. What "point" do you gather from an unresolved civil action?
Edited on Sat Jun-16-07 01:29 AM by pat_k
An action that was http://www.allbusiness.com/personal-finance/investing/3912916-1.html">dismissed in Feb '06? (without prejudice) The action was amended and refiled. Back in January of this year, the Deleware Chancery http://courts.delaware.gov/opinions/(nybgbxvkwg35ud55xtial5nu)/download.aspx?ID=86850">granted infoUSA's request for consolidation of the refilled action with an action brought by Dolphin Ltd. Since there are no other more recent orders or opinions listed on the Chancery site in relation to the case, one can only conclude that any recent "attention" has not been brought on by events, but rather by a desire to exploit this nascent case to smear by innuendo. As they say, there is no there there.

For anyone interested in an overview of the issues -- without the hysterical fingerpointing at the evil Clintons -- you'll find a decent piece from last year here:

10. Newsmax: Obama has his grandmother "locked in a closet"
CHICAGO -- If anyone else running for president locked his granny away and refused to allow her to be seen, would the media complain? You betcha.

But America's media have supinely allowed Barry Obama to pretend he has no white relatives. He has paraded his step-grandmother in Kenya, who never saw him until the 1980s, as his "granny," and locked the grandmother who actually raised him away in a closet.

Now, the Chicago Tribune reports "the Obama campaign declined to make (his white grandmother) available."

Is she sick? Not apparently. Bedridden? Hospitalized? Not apparently. She is the "Prisoner of Obama," and of Obama's racist myth that he is "Black" and not "Black and White."

What a disgrace.

And like whimpering puppies the media do not protest, complain or demand access.

Free Granny Madelyn Dunham Obama!

12. Do they expect 80 million dollars to be spent
trying to "get" something on the Clintons. You know, like, during the impeachment fiasco.

13. Yeah. And they did in the 60 listed in the "Clinton Body Count" too.
. . .and of course, there's Hillary's pesky murder of Vince foster.

Give me a break.

The most investigated administration of all time and what did they actually come up with? Cisneros and Espy. And, as http://mediamatters.org/items/200511030001">Media Matters points out, "neither Cisneros nor Espy were members of the administration at the time of their respective indictments, nor had either served in the White House . In fact, Libby's indictment is the first of an aide working at the White House in more than 130 years. Finally, Espy was indicted for offering political favors in exchange for gifts (he was later acquitted of the charges), and Cisneros ultimately pleaded guilty to lying to the FBI about money he had given to a former mistress; neither case involved matters of national security."

Given the failure of their feverish attempts to find corruption, the Republicans did a darn good job of "exposing" the Clinton administration as one of the cleanest in modern times.
