Every one of their strategists will tell them that when Carter spoke of the condition of the economy and the world, that he looked weak, and would be crushed.

Every candidate will instead sing the praises of the American worker, and their ingenuity. We will hear about the great things that are being done by some small church somewhere, or a community group somewhere else.

But no candidate will ever talk about these subjects because the "news" will beat them to death with their own words. "Are you saying that AMERICANS ruined the planet, why would you want to be their president?"



However, that doesn't change the fact that you're right.
