"It's a TV show. If you can't handle TV questions, how are you going to stand up to Iran, and North Korea, and the rest of the world?"

1. Great Idea: Russert joins Ailes.
Tim Russert is a caricature. He belongs on Fox.

2. It has nothing to do with "TV questions", Timmeh--it has everything
Edited on Sat Jun-16-07 03:57 PM by wienerdoggie
to do with the refusal to grant legitimacy to a scummy propaganda organization, and everything to with avoiding being politically damaged as a party by right-wing hacks (such as yourself, you sorry assclown--I used to like you) intent on keeping us OUT of power so that our candidates NEVER get to deal with N. Korea, Iran, etc.

3. It's not the questions that are the problem...
It's that the Dem's, by appearing on that network, gives them credibility, which, of course everyone knows, is something that that network sorely lacks...

9. What TimRussert is is a powerful setter of 'conventional wisdom' in DC media.
He's also extremely close with Carville and Matalin. They are all full-on fascist enablers.

11. NOT so. Anybody that boycotts Fox has damn good taste.
And knows how to make DECISIVE decisions.

13. Russert is a specialist in "gotcha journalism." He skirts the big
issues (which are intellectually challenging and not very entertaining) and goes after inconsequential missteps (like expensive haircuts) that both he and his audience can understand.
