Defining a "new kind of politics"
It seems the anti-Obama people on DU have been having a field day recently because of Obama's attacks on the Clinton's. They say he's a fake, a fraud. Well, I'm sorry to break it to the people who misunderstood or took the MSM's version of what he's said...but Obama NEVER said he wouldn't go on the attack. A "new kind of politics" was meant to represent not taking corporate money, not getting involved in nasty smear campaigns (like what the Rethugs did to McCain in 2000 and Powell in 1996). He NEVER said he wouldn't go after his opponents.

1. I've been just letting it go since Obama's campaign was first 'dead in the water'
several weeks ago...

Just like I stopped worrying about Afghanistan once they declared that war won and over with. I knew better but, no one would believe me if I said otherwise (in the larger picture) so well, just wasn't any point anymore. It's won and over with until one day it's not. And that's how it will be.

If Obama's campaign indeed has no shot and Hillary crushes all, I hope people are happy with her...

2. Saying Obama's campaign is "dead in the water"
with so much time to go and the money he's raised from the grassroots and netroots...and considering how he's still polling pretty well...and in some places like SC leading...is utterly foolish. But that's just my opinion.

3. Well you may be right. I'll just wait and see.
Rather than get worked up over people getting the hatchets out, that is to say.

I had to be reminded by a post shortly after yours that Obama's actually going to out-raise Hillary for the 2nd quarter. I guess I just heard he was washed up too much to even remember. :)
