No one gives a rats ass about the primary election yet. Don't you remember how the numbers bounced around in the spring of 2003? We go through this stupid little exercise every time. All Obama has to do is keep the money, organization and polling close (within 20 or so) and position himself as the anti-Hillary in the fall and winter. Dean was at what 3% at this stage. He climbed up to 30+% in the late summer/early fall and crashed back down to 15% when the primaries started. Remember Lieberman with his 27% in the polls in the spring of 2003. He came in fifth in New Hampshire. Get a grip. Hillary has the name id.
Obama will be fine.
These Clinton supporters are really starting to irritate me. Who gives a fuck if she leads WITH MORE THAN A YEAR TO GO. When the time for the nominations come, people will take a closer look and then we'll see where the numbers are. In the meantime, let Hillary spin her wheels and let Obama raise more money.
I love how the only thing Clinton supporters seem to bring up are polls. Well, you're setting up your candidate for a big fall. Because what will happen when people finally settle for someone else. The only reason any of you gave for her nomination was the fact she led in the spring. Good one.
You live by the polls, you die by the polls.

For 7 days that is good progress. He gained 3 points on Obama and 4 points on the front-runner.
The real story is that when Edwards lost some points last week he was deemed to be in a free fall and in danger of falling out of contention. Now it seems he has rebounded and suddenly those who were eagerly preparing to write their obituaries for the Edwards campaign are silent. ;)
