That's a winning ticket. Eliot Spitzer brings to the Whitehouse his strong determination and courage to go after corporate criminals. We need such an enforcer from the top to break the corporate crime chain.

8. My point is...
That people around here get enamored with a candidate (Spitzer or Richardson), and then are shocked when they find out they are DLC. For so many DLC is an automatic disqualification.

Doesn't bother me at all they are DLC...

2. You want Spitzer to do that, hope somebody has the cojones
to appoint him Attorney General. He'd be my first choice. My second choice would be John Kerry, a pit bull prosecutor who has had the guts to go up against the BFEE twice before, during Iran Contra and the BCCI scandal.

Vice Presidents most properly go to funerals and sit in on meetings as understudy for the main job. He'd be WASTED in that job.

11. Why is ownership of 'cojones' necessary to appoint him to be AG? nt

12. How about because there will be so much Wall Street
corporate and regulatory agency against it?

It's going to take a lot of guts to do the right thing.

6. Neither are Mitt and Rudy.
And I say 'tough shit'. The South and the Sun Belt have dominated the presidency for too damned long.

They'll just have to learn to vote for someon who is not one of their kind.

9. True enough about Mitt and Rudy but we are also asking them to cross party lines and they
won't do it for a set of Easteners. And that goes for the midwest as well.

10. Bad idea; Spitzer has no national security/defense credibility
also on the inexperienced side, particularly as it relates to federal gov't; not the right fit for Obama.

15. I would much rather see GORE/SPITZER.
But Gore/Obama or Obama/Spitzer works for me also. Al Gore, please get in the race! Actually, stay out until Sep/Oct. That way the media will have the others to kick around.
