Former President Clinton to Campaign With Hillary in Iowa next month

DES MOINES, Iowa (AP) - In a first, former President Clinton will campaign with his wife, Sen. Hillary Rodham Clinton, in Iowa next month, seeking to boost her candidacy in a state where she trails in the polls.

The former president will spend three days in Iowa with Sen. Clinton, who is seeking the Democratic nomination.

"The schedule is still being worked out, but it is the first time he's joined the campaign," said spokesman Mark Daley.

The couple will campaign in the state from July 2-4, Daley said. Details of the trip are still being arranged.

2. If a wife can campaign with her husband, then a husband should

be able to campaign with his wife. In my opinion there is nothing wrong with a wife and husband team. My wife and I are a team. I am retired and she still works. I support her in her work.
