MSNBC's Todd on Debate Performances
Richardson: He is so much better in a forum format than a debate format.

Kucinich: He has an amazing ability to not seem like he's in the same room as other folks on stage.

Clinton: What's fascinating, though, is that Clinton, once again, (as even Chris admitted to the audience) took control of the format -- just like she did at the last CNN debate. She's a presence.

Edwards: One of the early disappointments for Edwards has to be the lack of unified labor support he's received. On paper, he should be labor's first choice.

Obama: Somebody ate their Wheaties this morning. He had more passion in his opening statement than he's had at any of the debates. Nothing like a live audience to get him fired up.

the Tweetie and Wolfe class of political analysts/experts??????

As Political Director for NBC News, Chuck Todd has proved himself as one of America's foremost experts on political campaigns of all levels.

I don't like many...almost none of these people who report and question...simply because they are not true journalist as in the past. They say what they're told without question.

Chuck Todd may be no better, but he has worked his way up and may deserve a little more respect.

Todd has frequently appeared on television to offer analysis of campaigns and political events of the day, including weekly appearances on C-SPAN's "Washington Journal." He has also offered analysis for print publications and has been quoted in hundreds of daily newspapers.

In addition to his "Hotline" duties, Todd has written a highly-regarded weekly column for NationalJournal.com and MSNBC.com focusing on the big picture battles for the White House and control of the Senate and House. He also serves as a contributing editor to "The Atlantic Monthly" where he penned political essays.

Todd has also written op-ed essays that have been published in "The New York Times" and the "Washington Post." During the 2004 elections, he moderated one of the few presidential candidate forums in Iowa. In addition to Todd's extensive media presence, he teaches a graduate-level political communications course at the Johns Hopkins University.

In December 2005, Todd was featured as one of "Washingtonian's 'Best Of'" journalists. In March 2001, "George" magazine named him one of the 50 most influential people in politics.

Before coming to the world of political reporting and analysis, Todd earned practical political experience on initiative campaigns in Florida and various national campaigns based in Washington, D.C.

As Political Director for NBC News, Chuck Todd has proved himself as one of America's foremost experts on political campaigns of all levels.

(He's a much sought after speaker all over the country and his political work goes back much further than in the NBC article."
