Chris Matthews: "People on the East Coast like this guy Bloomberg." WHAT!?
How come these "news" anchors have the right to tell us who we like, without any factual basis?

I don't like Bloomberg. Where is his evidence that the East Coast is SO enamored with him?

Why does he have the right to make shit up on a "news" program?

How about the corporations let us decide who we like instead of having them decide for us?

5. Yeah, because we stop his stupid stuff.
And he does get whacked-out loony ideas. A STADIUM IN MANHATTAN?????? The frickin' OLYMPICS? We were just getting over the nightmares and he wants to pin a target on us??? And now the congestion-pricing which will destroy retailers and help no one except limo drivers. His sense of financial reality is entirely rich man.

19. Love? I'd be careful with your verbs.
Bloomberg is NOT cuddly.

As for the idea that he'd take New York State...

Please understand, he does NOT believe in democratic process. Period.

24. Let me say this one more time
I hope he runs. I hope he picks Lugar or another disenchanted Rethug. But if he picks Wes Clark, all bets are off.

In the meantime, until Al Gore announces, all of this is fun but pre-school.

How many days till election?

And where in NY do you live?

15. Yeah, didn't they talk once about putting the new Yankee Stadium
in Manhattan, and W-H-E-R-E in Manhattan could they have put it....

But it's going adjacent to the old Yankee Stadium I think, ready for the 2009 season...

18. actually they did talk
for a while about putting yankee stadium over hte west side rail yard during the rudy years. then he wanted (And rightly so) to build a football stadium over there. but it was blocked by dolan and silver (dolan who owns madison square garden and gets millions in tax abatements each year, didnt want any competition to his garden for major events)

7. Yeah, he either said "We're all here reacting/acting and putting on shit"
Edited on Tue Jun-19-07 06:35 PM by BerryBush
or "...on pretty much shit." (As in, maybe, "shit-nothing." As in, "We're all here having to react to this news, but we really don't know shit about the details.")

8. Why don't we line all those republican men up
tell them to drop their drawers, bend over, and let Matthews get all the ass kissing he wants. Then maybe he will be able to host his "Softball" Program without all the KISSUP.
