On most MSM news shows and channels. So we miss the actual day to day political news that they won't cover - like the flouting of the law with missing emails, the flouting of the law with signing statements, subpoenas used for Kleenex, etc. etc. etc.

It's much more relevant to discuss whether America will swoon over the "Aqua Velva" presence of Fred Thompson.

What a (media)world.

I honestly would like to know how they wake up and look at themselves in the mirror every morning without heaving.

TV Journalism - RIP.

Cause of death - suffocation and cerebral decay due to corporate punditry cutting off air flow to brain and heart. Prolonged seizures long after brain death. Plug pulled by viewers.

America turns away - finds solace in gardening, books, music and internet.

1. Even the advertising has..
gone down hill. I generally do the fast-forward, but occasionally I let it ride. I miss the jingles. I think we get every channel on the planet, but I tend to end up with Turner Classic Movies...go figure. I turned 50 this month. Since George Bush has been in office, I've learned so much...about the world, the Middle-east, America's history and foreign policy, and none of it from the television set. I've learned there are far more assholes than I ever imagined possible, and that many get their own television show. I've learned that 'fiction' and 'non-fiction' are interchangeable, and that 'free-speech' is expensive. I've learned about perception and reality, and how much of what I think I know I don't know at all. I've learned that justice is not blind, and that ratings don't matter. I've learned to sew, quilt, make rugs, and 'search'. My latest learn is polymer clay play... I thank Al Gore every day for inventing the internets.
