From Reagan forward...

...people who worked to empower the Republican Party are now running away claiming "there are no real conservatives".

Interesting phenomena.

1. Yeah, they're like "where did these bastards come from???"
as though they had nothing to do with it.

I want a bumper sticker that says: No Amnesty for Bush Voters

7. Glenn Greenwald has a really good blog entry on this.
http://www.salon.com/opinion/greenwald/2007/06/04/fraud/index.html I also liked Digby's quote for its astuteness, I think that's the word: "'Conservative' is a magic word that applies to those who are in other conservatives' good graces. Until they aren't. At which point they are liberals." February 2006, http://digbysblog.blogspot.com

9. The article
"The Great Right-Wing Fraud to Repudiate George W. Bush." I also noticed an unrelated article about Chris Matthews on Fred Thompsons' "sexiness and smells."

10. The "traditional" Conservatives had no problem with..
Bush until his poll ratings plumeted and the GOP lost the congress. It's merely a scam to get another Bush into power with a different face.
