HEALTH CARE INSURANCE

ITS TIME WE CHANGED THE SYSTEM:even our countries top controller is touting we are over paying for our health care.
I recently saw "DAVID WALKER" the countries chief controller stating to a committee
that we are paying 50% more for our health care insurance per capita more than many other countries. and we have between 40-60 million people with out coverage. something no other country in the free world has. and for this price we are 37 in health-care. that means that we are 37th in infant mortality, caring for our own, caring for the elderly, availability to see doctors or get a hospital bed etc.
I think everyone should go to mike moore's preview add and hit on american insurance companies. they should read what working people have to say about their dealings with insurance companies!
IT IS PAST TIME FOR A SINGLE PAYER INSURANCE PLAN!
IT ALSO WILL MAKE US COMPETITIVE IN THE JOB WORLD (BUILDERS NOT USERS OF PRODUCTS)
THATS WHERE PROSPERITY REALLY IS!

1. My husband works for an insurance company and both of us
believe that we should get RID of health insurance companies - they drive costs UP.

Unfortunately, only Kucinich has proposed something of this magnitude (of the current crop running). All HRC, Obama and Edwards' plans do is keep the status quo (read: money in the pockets of insurance companies).

My husband could find another sales job - it's sales he knows how to do. He wouldn't care one bit to change professions if it meant that we - and other working families - have access to decent health care.

2. Not going to be possible
Too much money in the game. Politicians have their hands tied by their dollars.
