Why record amounts of campaign cash are now more important than ever for Democrats
Supreme Court Loosens Restrictions on Corporate- and Union-Funded Election Ads

WASHINGTON (AP) -- The Supreme Court loosened restrictions Monday on corporate- and union-funded television ads that air close to elections, weakening a key provision of a landmark campaign finance law.

I want our candidate to match and exceed the GOP in TV ads. Another $100 to Clinton (and $50. each to Obama and Edwards.)

1. Sadly, they're not going to see it unless they stand up to Stupid
when he comes begging for war money in September. Rolling over in exchange for the minimum wage increase in May was a bad idea, but at least they did get benchmarks for success in writing. They'll be in a much better position to demonstrate what a failure Stupid's war is when those benchmarks have not been met.

If they roll over and ask Stupid to scratch their tummies again, forget it.

They will be hurting for cash. They will be hurting for votes.

2. In the short term, yes, but in the long term, I want all corporate money out of politics.
In most countries, bribing politicians is illegal, we call it campaign contributions and lobbying.
