GWB Progress Report...... If it ain`t ruined, he ain`t finished.
You gotta hand it to Junior. He`s a one-man demolition team at the absolute top of his game. Bush should tour the country in a pace car and set the standard for the cluster-ruination he`s so famous for. The days of Jeb getting all the attention are O-V-E-R. That Junior Bush is a Can-Do Guy, an all-American, heavy-duty Decider with the beautiful willingness to grab hold of a position and not let go. Even if he`s up to his kneecaps in a kind volunteer`s blood. Even if a law has to get broken to do it. He`s the Piranha President, known for his fang-sinking....into things like Geneva Conventions and FISA Courts. Odd how that happens, when a guy who never did much of anything starts wrecking things on a world-wide scale. Guess Junior`s mother should have spent less time pearl shopping and more time figuring out why all those frogs` legs were in her well-manicured driveway.

How much more can Bush ruin? Is there anyone left alive in Baghdad? In New Orleans? In Kabul? Has the national debt eaten a hole down through the earth yet? Do we have any scientists left? Any steel workers? Any constitutional scholars? Do we still have any Mom and Pop stores? Any textile factories? Do we still make things? Save things? Do we still dream and hope for a tomorrow? I have to ask because I think my country is gone. George Bush ground it under his heels while reporters were chasing after (not really) missing brides. Almost makes me yearn for the days when we were all talking about Pet Rocks and disco tunes.

I`m waiting for a big, national discussion. One of those earth-shattering chats that stops all the traffic and makes things quiet. Where people look around at things they haven`t noticed for five years and say, "Holy shit. When did that happen?"

1. All the recent attention to Cheney has exposed bush for what he is
and he isn't the tough macho cowboy he's been portrayed as by the MSM for the past 7 years. He's a sucker a weakling and a patsy and Cheney was smart enough to realize it and seize upon the opportunity to put himself in charge. He could never have gotten away with this with any other president that actually had a spine.

I think the Dems should seize on this and begin to stress the image of bush as a weak leader. Nothing would infuriate him more and he could easily be goaded into the meltdown we have all anticipated.

7. AMEN! Nothing new just bigger shit piles. Now he has made the country one big one.
Of course it wasn't anything that wasn't known before he went into office. His lack of achievements should have alarmed any voter. But heck he seemed like a good guy to have a beer with right? So how long will a democracy last? Is it destined to fail because the constituents really don't want to put the effort into it that it requires? Way things are looking now I'm thinking so. Is anyone really paying attention?

6. His presidency is truly "unprecedented"
It seems that every aspect of this president's behavior and actions has that word attached to it.

8. No, we don't still make things
We slaughter people by the hundreds of thousands to take their resources, we put each other in jail, and we sell each other cheap imported crap.
