Is the Iraq war and occupation an important issue here?
Edited on Tue Jun-26-07 06:30 PM by StudentsMustUniteNow
If so, then why is there support for a candidate who not only voted for the IWR but also has taken an almost indistinguishable position from most Repubelicks(i.e. "the war was a really good idea, but it's just Bush and the Iraqis who fucked it up")?

1. which candidate are you referring to
I can think of more than one with that position. I am for Kucinich or Gravel. Longshots with no corporate cash but the most honest Democrats since Wellstone. Isn't it sad how the "winners" are always the most compromised by the corporations and cash?

4. You exaggerate part and fabricate the rest of the HRC position on Iraq.
Her "yes" vote on the IWR resonated no louder than any of the others. In fact, it was Edwards that not only co-sponsored the IWR but rallied so convincingly for it that the State Department posted his OP on their website.

All the currents candidates have declared they will end the war. You have extrapolated the caveats to mean something other than the truth, no doubt to further your campaign of annihilation against HRC, conveniently overlooking other salient points to make a point that doesn't hold water.

Knock yourself out slamming the candidates, but it takes more than hot-headed rhetoric and bullshit to convince people of the reality of the situation. Although many including myself will not support any of those that voted "yes" on the IWR in the primary, any of our candidates are a damn sight better than any Republican.

14. Except Hillary Clinton doesn't refer to herself as "44"
Your already tenuous grasp on facts seems to be eroding.

11. The Position You Have Described, Sir
Edited on Tue Jun-26-07 10:55 PM by The Magistrate
Is the majority position among the people of the country, and you may therefore expect to see it, or close approximations of it, enunciated by people who harbor the desire to gain a majority of the votes in a national election.

12. Why do you always call me "Sir"?
It's patronizing and I would prefer it if you stopped.
