1. Don't forget to watch the PBS debate tonight starting at 9pm..! |
|
Update: “In a campaign season that’s been dominated so far by Iraq, the 90-minute session at Howard University, a predominantly black college in the nation’s capital, will focus on domestic issues, with emphasis on how they affect minority and poor communities. Eight candidates will share the stage, but the spotlight will focus most on the two Democratic front-runners, Sens. Hillary Clinton of New York and Barack Obama of Illinois.”

4. Careful, though. Remember Dec 2004 |
|
I have to admit I did not expect Hillary to pull ahead by that far this soon. But then here's a poll in the New Hampshire race at an even later point in the 2004 cycle, Dec. 17th:
Dean 45 Kerry 20 Undecided 15 Clark 8 Edwards 2
Hillary has kept from being hurt in the debates, set a good pace in fundraising and kept from hurting herself on the stump. You have to take your hat off. But Obama's also played far below expectations. Edwards hasn't helped himself much either.

But we've never had a field of candidates like this before.. I don't understand the logic (unless they are the same candidates) of referring back to previous years..
Hillary is in a class by herself. The reason for her doing so well, is all her hard work and preparation is coming to fruition. Add to the fact, she has benn involved in campaigns since her post college years. She is aware of the pitfalls and has the answers ready if something unforeseen occurs. Also, she was a debate champion at Wellesley. She's not worried at all about her campaign. Why should she, she's been planning this campaign even in her sleep, perfecting, recruiting, making adjustments when necessary. She's more than ready to hit the ground running if she's elected.
I have total confidence in Hillary, the first woman, to be elected president.
She was BORN to RUN!
