1. Who the hell do they call?
I'm a registered voter and they never call me. And just about everyone I know is supporting Edwards. He's spent quite a bit of time here, unlike His and Her Majesties of the top tier.

3. I think you may be mistaken.
"He's spent quite a bit of time here, unlike His and Her Majesties of the top tier."

He's been to campaign events in GA twice. Once more than Hillary and once less than Obama.

2. These polls seem so skewed
since the polls here and at dKos and at other left side blogs all have either Obama or Edwards fighting for first place and Clinton way down the list.

I do not believe these national polls are really Democratic voters. Over at MyDD there is a poll where Edwards is far far ahead of any other contender in Iowa and several other first voting states.

4. You have it backwards.
DU and dailykos are not representative of mainstream America. I know, I know, let the bashing begin.

6. Why would I bash
You believe that DU and dKos and the leftside blogway is not representative of the non-GOP viewpoint.

I believe it is.

How else do you explain a Democratic win in this last election with the whole government and election system set up to have a corporatist/GOP win. The people in this country do not believe in the way "they" keep trying to tell us they do.

8. You think DU represents mainstream non GOP thought?
"How else do you explain a Democratic win in this last election with the whole government and election system set up to have a corporatist/GOP win."

Simple. The electorate was tired of GOP BS with the war, Katrina, scandals etc.

That doesn't mean that the electorate suddenly has the same viewpoints as DU.

11. William769, you're forgetting two important things
The netroots believe grassroots organizing and door to door canvassing were invented during the Dean campaign and that "progressives" are the only ones doing it.

15. "Not all Democrats belong to DU and Kos." Absolutely true!
Plus, there actually are Democrats who are in the center or who are conservative Democrats.

5. Strategic Vision's new Iowa poll is more relevant: Edwards 26%, Obama 21%, Hillary 20%,
Richardson 11%, Biden 4%, Dodd 2%, Kucinich 1%, Undecided 15%

http://www.strategicvision.biz/political/iowa_poll_062707.htm

I'm a little disappointed that Kucinich isn't polling stronger.

7. It is...if you look at last months version of this same poll...Edwards and Obama Down...
Hillary and Richardson Up...

Hillary and Obama are now statistically tied, and within range of Edwards....

It is gonna be tight

14. That's what I'd hope for if were irretrievably in Hillary's camp. I see her DLC vote being siphoned
off by Richardson. I'm sure leads will shift and shift back several times between now and January.
