Is it true?

The Bush Administration along with the Republican led Congress (109th) has put us in a National debt that is greater than all previous Administration's, in our Nation's history, combined?

According to Wikiedia, which, as memory serves, seems to be pretty close if not actually accurate, Shrubbie The War Criminal came into office with a national debt of 5.6 trillion, and cranked it up to 9.0 trillion by the Sept. 30 of last year. Of course, he keeps borrowing, the evil criminal shit, and it's been almost another year, so by now it might close to 10 trillion, which puts his debt close to equalling all the debt of the previous administrations put together.

5. It was $4.0 trillion at the end of Bush 1 in 1992, Clinton in 8 years added
...another trillion and Shrub* in six years added $3.9 trillion and we'll see at least $2.0 trillion more going into 2009 when the next president takes over who ever that will be in Jan 2009.

Net effect is the next congress and executive administration will be facing a national debt of $11.9 to $13.0 trillion and what BushCo has done with the war and waste and tax cuts will balloon that debt for decades to come. The interest alone on such a debt with require a trillion dollars every year in the Federal budget forever!

6. Well, when Reagan left office his budget deficit
was larger than all previous years combined. Clinton managed to cut some of it and when you know how much deeper Bush went - no surprise there.
