Lucky Bush & Co... another Terror Scare knocks GOP (mis)deeds out of the news cycle

First off... I'm glad the car bomb was discovered and no one seriously hurt.

That being said, CNN has been NON-STOP about this incident for the last few hours.

Bush & Co seem to be getting a pass today about (in no particular order):

1. Subpoenas to the White House from the Congress being ignored by Bush & Co.
2. Prominent Republicans saying we need to get the hell out of Iraq
3. Democratic Prez candidates had a forum yesterday on African-American issues (and Bush & Co.'s neglect in terms of Katrina was mentioned prominently)
4. Bush's appointees to the Supreme Court are running wild...overturning Brown v. Board of education (basically saying to let re-segregation reign) and other long-standing rulings (all the while saying they didn't do exactly that)
5. Pressure building by GOP to axe Dick Cheney
6. Bush's immigration bill goes does in flames
7. Iraq is still out of control
8. Afghanistan has a record-busting opium crop this year
9. ...y'all fill in the blanks
