As Gin Blossom George continues his downward spiral, the result of his six years (so far) in office are only ***juuuuuuust*** starting to be noticed.

The Supremes ..... they will be worse than you imagine

The war ...... its financial impact on our country is only just now starting to be clear. We're bankrupt by any fair measure and yet we just keep on keepin' on. The debt will be carried and repaid on the backs of the little guys, not the powerful.

The bazillions of minor 'rule changes' effected in each governmental agency will take years to discover. A word change here, a pronoun adjustment there, a replaced adverb in the other place. All seemingly minor. All draconian in their affect.

The establishment of the Department of Homeland Security has been accepted as 'reasonable'. Soon enough they will be in a position to start 'coming secretly in the night' with no more than the say-so of a now or future president.

Add to this list ... because it is too painful for me to think of very much more.

If I get my tin foil tight enough, I see a pattern ...... R .... R ..... R ..... breathe ... D ...... R ...... R ....... R ...... D .....

Ya see , they make so many of those minor little changes that don't even get uncovered until years later that they're perfectly able to weather a D presidency every few years.

Also, the D gives them cover to keep the illusion of a free country and fair elections alive.

All that, mind you ..... if I tighten the foil on my head.
