Toking with Norm Coleman
Found this interesting article when I signed on to listen to KTNF in Minneapolis this morning.

============================================================================================
If the advice seems paradoxical, it certainly befits the paradox which is Norm Coleman: Coleman's chameleon past has caught up with him yet again, perhaps "puffing" a bit as it did.

A college friend of Coleman, outraged by Coleman's hard-line stance on criminal penalties for marijuana use, has published an open letter on Coleman's own marijuana use as a student at Hofstra University.

According to attorney Norm Kent, Coleman's drug use while at Hofstra was on display at campus events both public and private.

"We smoked pot when we took over Weller Hall to protest administrative abuses of students' rights," Kent claims. "You smoked pot as you stood on the roof of the University Senate protesting faculty exclusivity. As the President of the Student Senate...you condemned the raid by Nassau County police on our dormitories, busting scores of students for pot possession."

Normy - we hardly knew ye. All that pot must've fucked up his brain.

4. OMG that is amazing!
What a picture, what a hypocrite. Is that really him?

Norm there are a lot of people out here who could care less that you smoked pot then or even if you smoke pot now but we sure as hell care if you lie about it and then legislate against it.

8. Oh man you just gotta love this.
I love seeing old photos of people from that time. We were all so, um, cute and scruffy.

Old pot head Norm. There has to be something we can do with that. :smoke: :hippie:

11. I'm going to get flamed for this
I don't think that just because you once did something illegal, that you should advocate it or push for its decriminalization. A lot of folks here said they drove drunk before...

And will any of OUR candidates decriminalize weed? Obama smoked and snorted, and I haven;t heard anything from him. Let's hold our own candidates accountable.
