Obama's new nickname is CAPTAIN KIRK
Watch when he speaks in debates, the way he hesitates after every word, it's pretty funny.

However, the Hillary-Bot-Borg tear a**ing around DU may be more fetching nick name? :P

On Edit: I omitted Picture. Even I can't lower myself that far. ;) :hi:

7. Im starting to hope we tear each other's candidates down so much,
that none of us can win in the GE. I swear to christ this place is worse than freeper boards lately on dem bashing. And Barack's not even my candidate.

But some of this shit is making me sick. The posts over and over by draft cuomo especially. I'm an Edwards supporter, and he gives all of us a bad name. I'm ashamed to support the same caniddate as he.

15. DMC - Dude, you are consistently negative.
Not sure what your intended purpose is but in my opinion it is very destructive behavior, RFK you aren't.

12. Calm down, it's a joke.
I like Obama, he just needs to watch that. It's like Kerry with the tongue thing in 2004.

18. I'm still waiting for that "Kerry Gone Wild" tape

That was his shining moment of the campaign, showing his self-awareness and sense of humor.

I must say, though, that the best moment of self-image humor was from John Edwards when Bill Maher asked him what he thought about being referred to as "the Breck Girl": Edwards smiled and replied "No, I'm much prettier than the Breck Girl".

Yes, nerves are already frayed, and like '03 and early '04, it'll get much worse in a hurry. I hope people don't succumb to what's usually the first casualty: one's sense of humor.

Then again, to lose one, one has to actually HAVE one.

We'll learn a lot about each other, and it's up to each of us to try to remain civil and fair-minded. Then again, there's time for war, too...

I didn't think it was too mean spirited to call Obama this.

16. I agree, this Circular Firing Squad crap totally sucks.
Sometimes I think there are way too many dumb people here, who come here just to tear Democrats down.

17. Obama/Edwards
It's a lot easier to be for or against an issue when you have no constituency, no angry mob of voters to face or to hold your feet to the fire when they might disagree. Obama might have voted for the Iraq Resolution if the Sears Tower was brought down. and Edwards doesn't have to worry that Carolina is what, maybe 50/50 on this war (?)
Show me a senator who always does the right thing and I'll show you his headstone.

I do thank you
Ben David
