8. Let's see, we have
Lois Quam, Business Leader - she's a wheel at United Health Group

Matt Entenza, Former House Democratic Leader - failed candidate for state attorney general. He had to drop out of the race after it came out that he had set a private investagator after Mike Hatch, who was Attorney General (and a major thorn in the side of health insurance companies) who was the DFL's candidate for governor. Also married to Lois Quam (did I mention she's a wheel at UHG?).

Ember Reichgott Junge, Former Senate Assistant Majority Leader - also the former chair of Liebermann's Minnesota campaign in 2004. In 2006 she ran in the DFL primary for the 5th District Congressional seat. She was challenging the endorsed candidate, Keith Ellison and she appeared to be very well funded.

Hubert "Buck" Humphrey - Hubert III's grandson. Major party establishment folks.

Bill Pohlad, Film Producer & Michelle Grabanski Pohlad, Social Activist - father owns the Minnesota Twins and just strong armed the taxpayers into paying for a new stadium. Since the stadium deal the Pohlad family has coughed up several million to buy J.B. Hudson Jewelers and I believe I heard they just made another large purchase.

I also recognize the names of several others who, I fear, would vote for any woman who was running for president.

3. Thank you Martin Sabo for NOT being on this list

These 40 people are not all "leaders". An activist(s), a lawyer,
a consultant?

11. The title of 40 leaders is misleading

And I did recently live in Minnesota for the past 3 years. Does
that mean I qualify to comment? What a typical passive aggressive
Minnesotan question.

13. Obama's got Keith Ellison who is, IMO, more relevant than any of those people
If Clinton could get Amy Klobuchar, I'd be impressed.

14. Really, does what politician endorses someone really matter?
It rarely does to me though I'll admit that Wellstone's opinion was one I took into consideration when he endorsed someone. But currently I can't think of any elected official's opinion that would influence me.

15. Did Walter Mondale endorse Hillary?
I see sooooo many similarities between Mondale in '84 and Hillary now.
