Is HRC more electable than Obama?
http://www.surveyusa.com/3WayMBwheel062007

There has been a lot of one-way talk about the issue that focuses on HRC's weaknesses. We hear that daily but have heard it more than usual over the past two days. This thread offers a comparison between the two on the issue (Edwards was not included in the poll, although he outperformed both in the previous multi-state survey, flipping even hardcore red states Kentucky and Virginia). Since elections are won through the electoral college this is a better way of comparing electability than generic national numbers that could be distorted by lopsided wins or losses in some states.

This was a 16 state survey.

Electoral college result

HRC vs. Ghouliani vs. Bloomberg: HRC 179, Ghouliani 62
Obama vs. Ghouliani vs. Bloomberg: Ghouliani 170, Obama 56 (Ghouliani flips California, NY, even Massachusetts. OH is a tie so I gave no EV's for OH)

States won (flipped states in bold)

HRC: California, Iowa, Massachusetts, Minnesota, Missouri, New Mexico, New York, Ohio, Oregon, Washington, Wisconsin.
Ghouliani (against HRC): Alabama, Kansas, Kentucky, Texas, Virginia

Obama: Iowa, Minnesota, Missouri, Oregon, Washington, Wisconsin
Ghouliani (against BO): Alabama, California, Kansas, Kentucky, Massachusetts, New Mexico, New York, Texas, Virginia

1. I'm Truly Beginning To Feel There's No Point In Maintaining The Farce
If there were a movement to cancel the elections in favor of revolution, maybe something would change at last for the better...

2. I don't think either one are truly electable
Obama - gives a great speech, has little experience. Possible great FUTURE candidate, but not now.

Hillary - if you don't know why she's unacceptable by now, nothing I say will convince you otherwise.
