To our current candidates for president (graphic images warning)
and to our Democratic leaders in Congress - I'm very angry - and since this is about the only way I am heard because even when I call and complain I feel the only people really listening are the government wiretappers, I wanted to say some things.

I hope that someone will forward this web link to you with even just my message, but I hope others will agree and say something.

If you are going to capitulate under B*sh's horrible leadership and mass murder approving ways in Iraq, wiretapping of citizens, refusing subpoenas for information and thus declaring himself a virtual kingdom, then you will not be getting my vote.

Saying things that sound like the following, tell me you don't get how disgusted this country is with your president ---

Impeaching B*sh is not something we should do - because we should save impeachment for 'grave' matters.

There's just not the 'appetite' here in Congress for going forward with impeachment.

George B*sh is a 'nice' man from a 'patriotic family'.

George is a 'courageous' man.

George 'isn't worth impeaching'.

WE VOTE - WE DONATE - WE WAVE THE SIGNS - But we won't be doing these things for you for saying such shocking statements about him, when he is the biggest assault on the Constitution, and biggest embarrassment, this country has ever had. I am NOT GOING TO LAY OFF THE DEMOCRATIC MAJORITY because the situation we are in is on the verge of tipping into a total fascist police state, as every new law and ruling handed out by the SCOTUS is rather shocking. We are on the verge of seeing complete autonomy being handed over to the president and his staff, without any regard to being questioned, or being punished - this is not the time to back off - it's the time to stand up!

Nixon had more class than B*sh, and his crimes were far less compared to the dozens by B*sh, and he still knew he should resign -

B*SH WON'T EVER RESIGN - You're right, he IS too oblivious to what's going on around him - and it's for that very reason he SHOULD be impeached - do you not know how dangerous that it is to allow him to continue to mismanage the most powerful country in the world? He must be impeached before he allows another soldier to die needlessly for profit, or another family to die in an upcoming natural disaster because he is on vacation, or another civil liberty to be trampled down by his law breaking administration who's own counsel said - not EVERYTHING they do is illegal.

HIS NEFARIOUS VISION AND HIS QUASI-RELIGIOUS BELIEFS ARE ANYTHING BUT CHRIST-LIKE!

If no one reads this, at least I know I'm doing what I can to make my opinion heard - and I will be calling you Democratic leaders and candidates who are backing down to B*sh, because I don't want any more dead people's families, like those in New Orleans and in other nations, blaming us for their loved ones death for generations to come.

1. I know it is frustrating
And I wish I had a good fix for the situation.
But my only solution is a general strike where we all show up in Washington and camp out on the mall until things are starting to change.
But I don[t know how to pull that off.

2. you have it though, Mike, that's THE answer...
it takes all of us able bodied, and even some of the non-abled bodied who can fight the pain, to march en mass. We need our muse, our leader, our call to arms. When Kerry spoke about reporting for duty - he TRULY seemed to care, and I don't doubt he cares tremendously (I think the man is a brave and honest American), but his marching for his country took place against the Vietnam war, we need a new younger leader. I don't have the resources to be that man, or the ability to spit out the facts so readily as one would need to do (although I would do good in compiling reports and aiding simple requests), but don't think your point isn't greatly taken, I will be on the lookout for someone and I will push them to mount a push to the gates of the WH if things get worse as they show they have. We need voices speaking for us. Congress has only done so-so, so far. And, not surprisingly, some of our best leaders for our cause have been gunned down or silenced in other ways.

I pray for a renewal of hope! Thanks for being one who responded.

3. The most memorable (disturbing) picture to me was
the one of the little old lady, dead in her wheelchair, covered with a sheet, and shoved to the side in the NO Convention Center. That's the pic that sticks in my head....but I used to work with the elderly in nursing homes.

This still breaks my heart.
