We're Going to Kennebunkport on July 4th...

...and we're going to "honk for impeachment" there.

There is a protest there on Sunday, but we can't go to that one.

On July 4th, however, we are going to take a nice little family ride to Kennebunkport. We will take a little spin through this beautiful little town that has the unfortunate blight of the bush compound within its confines. We will give several periodic honks of our horn.

We fully expect to be pulled over. We do still have our "Kerry/Edwards" bumper stickers on both cars. I will challenge the reasons for being pulled over, because I will SCRUPULOUSLY obey all traffic laws and will give the Police no reason to stop me. I fail to see how he occasional "beep-beep" of a Hyundai Accent's horn.

We will almost certainly not drive by the compound because the road past will almost certainly be closed to the people who actually live in Maine. But we will be in his vacation home's town. Hopefully others will be there doing the same thing.

The moron will almost certainly be out on a boat or on a golf course "suffering terribly" over the lives of the young Americans hes thrown away in his war based on lies.

We will know what we're doing. Someone else will, too. Most of all, we will be making our own statement that we will not be intimidated by this thuggish, criminal administration fronted by, as Garrison Keillor put it, this "dim little man". We will give our 7 year old, a young man of integrity and insight beyond his years, that you stand up for those things you believe to be right.

Afraid? Not by a damn sight. As said in "V for Vendetta", governments should be afraid of their people, not the people afraid of them. I'll post and let you know how it goes. Maybe I'll persuade ChicaAzul to post some pictures.

This'll beat a cookout any day!
