Jesus Christ! The insurgents are probably making plans now for this arrival.

1. That was my first
thought as well. Stupid PR move that could have dire consequences.

2. Why is he going back so soon? He was just there in April.
How much money are taxpayers going to pay for THIS worthless campaign stunt? I guess he's going to try to look somber and statesmanlike this time, and not bargain for rugs with a Kevlar helmet. Can't have a do-over, sorry, Johnny--we will never forget your April visit.

3. He's going back???
I thought he already went earlier this year. It was a big success. He said everything was fine.

Well, he DID have to be escorted by a small army. Had to strap on that Kevlar Vest. Was personally escorted by a general (Petraeus?).

But other than that, everything was wonderful.

Sorry McInsane, no do-overs.

4. A do-over?
The last trip was a PR nightmare for him. You would think he might have learned a lesson from that.

6. That's probably exactly what it is...

One of these probably:

1) Trying desperately to do a "do over"
2) Wants to be out of town when Thompson makes his announcement
3) Wants to be out of town when the 2nd quarter numbers come out
4) Wants to try to garner "patriotic 4th of July PR"
5) He can't think of anything else to salvage his sinking campaign

5. Can you imagine the Generals over there, trying to fight an Occupation,
and this pain in the ass Senator will now demand attention away from this illegal Occupation. God he is a pain. Stay the hell home and grill a steak!! Let these poor guys at least try to do their jobs. They must hate him...
